Bonnie grew up in El Reno, Oklahoma with her 3 brothers: Leslie, Donald, and Jim; and her loving parents John and Faye Roblyer. Bonnie earned her teaching certificate and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of education. She worked for the Parsons, Kansas School District for over 30 years as a teacher and a guidance counselor. She married Albert Flanders and together they raised 3 daughters: Mary Anne, Nancy, and Kristi. Bonnie was active in the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being in the Kitchen Band and Classy Red Hatters at Wexford Place in Kansas City. She loved watching her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren grow up. Her caring spirit left a legacy of love. She will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Wesley United Methodist Church at 500 Leawood Drive in Parsons, Kansas; or to Life High School Oak Cliff Football Fund in Dallas,Texas (where her grandson Cole is head football coach). A graveside service will be at 1pm on Saturday, November 19th at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, KS.
