Bill was the oldest child of Brooksie and Ann Hendrick. He was born December 7, 1928 in Hartwell, Missouri. Bill graduated from Ballard High School in 1946 and attended Bolivar College in Bolivar, Missouri during the summer and taught grade school near Butler, Missouri during the school year.
In 1951 he was drafted into the US Army and after boot camp he was shipped to France until his term expired in March 1953. After returning home he finished his education at Warrensburg University, Warrensburg, Missouri receiving a degree in chemistry. He worked for Cook Paint Company for a time then joined the Sherman Williams Paint Company, and traveled a lot through the Midwest and eastern states. Bill retired in 2008.
Bill was married to the love of his life Violet Virginia Edwards on October 8, 1956. They made their home in Gladstone, Missouri. Bill cared and nursed Ginny through her bout with cancer and Parkinson, which took her life on May 12, 2013.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, Brooksie and Anna Daniel Hendrick, his beloved wife Virginia Hendrick. Brother-in-law Melvin Fairman, nephew Mike Loehr and niece Darcy Hendrick.
He is survived by his brother Don (Ferne) Hendrick, 2 sisters Iris (Eldo) Schuster and Etta Sue Fairman and many Nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Bill will have a private family funeral with a burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, Missouri.
