She is survived by three children: William Geary (Janet Geary), Karen Geary (William Wells), and Cindy Haddix (David Haddix), all of Kansas City; six grandchildren: Matthew Geary (Dana Geary) of Prairie Village, Rachel Pederson (Steven Pederson) of Gladstone, Leni Wells (Travis McKay) of Seattle, WA, Lauren Haddix (Steven Wayne), Meredith Haddix, and Madeleine Neer (Elijah Neer) each of Kansas City; and five great grandchildren: Serenity Pederson, Connor Geary, Leah Geary, Ezekiel Neer, and Abraham Neer.
For over two and one-half years her family was expanded to include the extraordinary people caring for her in the Alzheimer Unit at the New Mark Care Center, in Kansas City, MO. It was further expanded to include the kind and caring spirits of Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care during her final year.
A graveside service was held at the White Chapel Cemetery.
