Barbara Ann Hargrave, 82, of Liberty, MO passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 23, 2018. She was born on June 18, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Roy T. and Elizabeth E. Jones. Barbara was united in marriage to Joseph T. Hargrave Jr. on June 26, 1954 and together they traveled the world courtesy of the United States Army. She was an avid quilter and seamstress.
Barbara was preceded in death by her both her parents, her husband, two sisters Donna Tubbesing and Dorothy Peterson, and one daughter Mary Krenkel.
Barbara is survived by her son Steven T. Hargrave (Rita), grandchildren Jared Hargrave (Wendy), Travis Hargrave, Teri Hargrave, Andrew Krenkel (Amber), and Megan Krenkel, great grandchildren Elizabeth Hargrave, Ryan Hargrave, and Willow Aldrich.
A graveside service will be held on Sat., Sept. 1 at 12:30 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life dinner immediately following at the Smokehouse BBQ 304 N. Oak Trwy, all are welcome to attend even those that were unable to attend graveside.
