Sharon Clarke

It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Anne Clarke, age 69, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on October 14, 2015 at home, Glace Bay, NS.

Born in Glace Bay on June 4, 1946 Sharon was the daughter of the late Winnifred Tredwell and John Aucoin.

Left with many wonderful memories are her husband of 51 years William (Billy) Clarke Glace Bay,2 sons Billy Jr (Jennifer) Clarke Maple Ridge BC and Bobby (Kim) Clarke Glace Bay; 4 grandchildren Emily (Damien) Clarke,Hubley,Ns , Jeremy Clarke Edmonton Alberta, Bradey Clarke Edmonton Albeta and Mollie Clarke Maple Ridge BC. 2 Great grandchildren Tucker and Grayson.

Sharon is survived by brothers Frank (Sylvia) Tredwell and Bob (Marie) Tredwell, sister-in-law Jeanette Landry Glace Bay, Sharon Bickford Amherst NS and Lois Lacklyn Upper Tantallon, brother-in-law Donald Clarke Glace Bay, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends Darlene England, Bertha Ashe, Don MacNeil and Barb Mullins.

Besides parents she was predeceased by brothers Bud (Marjorie) Tredwell, Alister (Carol) Tredwell and sisters May (Bill) Budge and Lex (Art) Billard.

Sharon loved the game of Hockey. She never missed a game that her sons and grandsons played. She also volunteered at the Glace Bay Food Bank. Doing for others was one of Sharon’s best qualities and lets not forget her famous Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 19,2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St, Glace Bay. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 20 at 11am in Patten Funeral Home Chapel.
