Robbie Timmons

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Robert and Jeanette (McNeil) Timmons. Robbie was employed at Maple Leaf Foods in Kitchener for 27 years. He was an avid pool player, loved to hunt and fish, and was fond of animals, especially Conrad the dog.

Robbie is survived by his father, Robert (Donna Hulme); his sister, Kathy; and Donna’s children, Tanya and Jason Milley, all of Glace Bay and best friends Johnny, Cher and Francis, of Kitchener. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robbie was predeceased by his mother, Jeanette; paternal grandparents, Carson & Kay Timmons and maternal grandparents, Peter & Hilda McNeil.

Visitation for Robbie will be held in Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay on Sunday, Jan. 20 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Norman MacPhee officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Anthony Cemetery, Glace Bay.
