Margaret Myrtle Dawe

We are saddened to announce the passing of Margaret M. Dawe, 77, of Glace Bay. Margaret died August 27, 2019 at the Glace Bay General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay, Margaret was the daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (White) Boch. Margaret was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Women’s Auxiliary from 1964-68. Margaret is survived by her special friend, Joseph Lynk; daughters, Debbie (Brian) Colson, Nancy (Ken MacDougall) Dawe, Margaret (Harold Knox) Dawe; sister, Lila Boch, and brother, Wayne (Sandra) Boch; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Gerald; brothers, Joseph Boch, Tommy Allen Boch, and sister, Lois Boch. Visitation for the late Margaret Dawe will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, Union Street, Glace Bay. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30 at 2 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
