Dear Carol Ann , Linda, Judy  , Kevin , and all of your family, 
I was saddened to hear about Aunt Venie’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of your family and ours spending Christmas together at Nanny’s house in our youth. 
      She was an incredible seamstress! She made my prom dress, graduation dress and the dresses for the bridesmaids at my wedding. She will always be in my thoughts as I look at the pictures of those special moments in my life. 
   All your wonderful memories of your loving mom will carry you through the difficult days ahead. Sincere condolences to all of you,

Dear Linda, Carol Ann, Judy, Kevin & all the family,

We were so sorry to hear of Venie’s passing. She was a lovely lady and so talented in so many ways. She made the beautiful  bridesmaids’ dresses for our wedding, and therefore will always be a part of the wonderful memories of our special day. 
There are never any words to help make the loss of a loved one any easier. We hope it helps to know that many people care and are thinking of you, and wishing you strength at this most difficult time.

To Venie's family....sending my condolences to you in this time of loss and remembrance.  My Mom and yours had a very warm friendship over the years.  [Mom passed in 2018, her 95th year].  I'll be thinking of your family as Mother's Day draws near and wishing you the comfort of many happy memories.

We will miss Venie. Although we have not seen her in quite awhile we kept in contact every Christmas with a Christmas card. We met Venie and Clarence in Cuba many years ago and had lots of laughs and fun. She sure knows how to make a butterscotch pie! Today and always,may loving memories bring you peace,comfort,and strength

Our deepest condolences on the loss of a sweet lady. Venie was a wonderful friend and neighbour growing up on York street ext. She was also such a sweet friend to my mother, frequently picking her up on the way to Epworth every Wednesday evening for choir practise. I remember many visits to Venie’s home to have my high school  graduation dress fitted with expertise .  
 Keeping all her family in our thoughts and prayers.

I only met your grandmother Chris a few times but I could tell that this lovely lady was loved.  My deepest sympathy to you Chris and Launa and all her family.

I also remember her in the Epworth Choir next to my mother, Ann MacKenzie. They sang such beautiful alto.
