Harold Maddin Clark

It is with sadness of heart that we the family of Harold Maddin Clark announce his passing on April 19, 2022 at 93 years of age. Harold was born to the late Edward & Elizabeth (Butts) Clark on Nov. 1, 1928 in Glace Bay. He grew up in Glace Bay and worked most of his life as a coal miner at #26 mine. Harold also served in the Artilery Regiment in Korea and was an active and life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 3.

He is predeceased by his parents, his wife Eunice as well as sons Kenneth and Vincent and his siblings Mary, Elizabeth, Doris, Viola, Frances, Fred, Marcell and Jim.

Harold is survived by his children Darlene (Bob), Harold (Eyvonne), Richard (Julie) and Robin, daughter-in-law Barb, grandchildren Christopher (Judy), Jonathan (Amanda), Jeffrey, Christopher, Nicholas, Kyle, Jodi Marie, Rickie Lee, Laurie Dawn and Gordon as well as 6 great grandchildren and one brother Lorne.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.pattenfuneral.com. If desired, donations in Harold’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
