Beth Helen Noseworthy - We, the family, sadly announce the peaceful passing of Beth Helen Noseworthy, age 88 years, at the Glace Bay General Hospital on January 31, 2019. A lifelong resident of Glace Bay, Beth was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Hattie Crowell. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bill; daughter Donna (Tom) Nolan; sons Allen (Elaine) and Kenneth (Kelly); sister Shirley (Ray) McNabb; brothers Donald (Joyce) and George (Jean); sister-in-law Isabelle Crowell and many nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by brothers Roy and Earl; sisters Vivian, Phyllis and Audrey and their husbands; and sister-in-law Doris and husband Malcolm Collins.
Beth graduated from Morrison High School in 1948. Her first job was as a stenographer in the office at Mason’s Wholesale, Sydney for 10 years and as office manager from 1981-1997 at Skyline Plumbing and Heating, the family business. Beth enjoyed family activities, especially her 50 summers at the bungalow on the Mira River. Beth was a member of the Glace Bay Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and treasurer. She was a charter member of the Genevieve Morrison Missionary Group, and served as group treasurer for 63 years.

Visitation will take place on Saturday February 2,2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Patten’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held on Sunday February 3 at 2pm in Glace Bay Baptist Church York St, with Rev Allan MacLellan officiating.
