Anne Alena Doyle passed away peacefully on November 16, 2020 at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney. Anne was the youngest daughter of Howard Bernard Doyle (Ingonish) and Neilena Doyle (nee Borden) of Donkin.
She was predeceased by her siblings: brothers Vincent, Francis, John, Gus, and Leo, and sisters Mary and Theresa.
She endured the loss of her eldest son Michael (Patricia Gibson) in 2017, and is survived by children Theresa (Rick Beaulieu) of
Guelph, ON; Gregory, Ottawa, ON, Vincent (Steve Noble), St Stephen, NB; Paul (Rita Matheson) Brantford, ON; and Anne's youngest daughter, Neilena (Ralph Schroers) also in St Stephen, NB, as well as 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren,
and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Anne will be greatly missed by her family who were in constant daily contact with her via video and telephone during her stay at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care facility in Sydney during this Corona19 Pandemic. Anne will also be missed by the many friends she had among the staff in the St Ann’s Bay Wing; as well as her close friends Margaret and Sarah. We, her family, greatly appreciate the unerring, dedicated personal care provided by Harbourstone. Our family would also like to thank our cousin Valerie Bobbit (Hayes), and daughter-in-law Rosalie Boutilier for their attentive concern during our mother’s decline. We also want to thank her friend Donna and husband Glenn Munro, who were with her at the end and provided daily comfort and reassurance. For this, our family is and will continue to be, humbly and eternally grateful.
Although we will miss her dearly here on earth, we are comforted in the knowledge she will be in the loving arms of her parents, her siblings, and her son Michael.
RIP Mom... till we meet again.

And shepherds watch over the little white sheep.
The lighthouse is shining for ships far at sea,
And God keeps the night watch for you and for me.”
