Al spent his career as an electrician with Sydney Steel Plant to which he truly enjoyed and loved hanging with “the boys” in the electrical shack. Al always had a way of making all of us laugh and appreciate the special moments in life. He was a true hero to us all, especially his grandkids. They looked up to him for always being there when they needed him. He always had an ear for whoever needed it. Gramps/Grampie always let you know it was always going to be okay in whatever situation we found ourselves in. He worked hard for all of us, his love for his family knew no bounds.
Gramps/Grampie truly loved being outdoors. There were several camping trips that became lifelong classic stories that were appreciated just as much as the day they happened, so many years later. He spent a lot of time walking with his dogs on the beach and had a true passion for trucks, which he passed onto all his grandkids!
He truly left his mark on everyone.
