Ralph A Jennings III

A Memorial Service for Ralph A. Jennings, III, age 77 of Gering, NE, who died on December 16, 2018 in Scottsbluff, NE will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Central Church of Christ with Pastor Lyle Hinebauch officiating. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering, NE. A memorial has been established to Central Church of Christ. Ralph was born April 23, 1941 in Providence, Rhode Island to Ralph A. Jennings, Jr and Emma Coultas (Crawford) Jennings. He received his education in Rhode Island graduating high school in East Providence. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine.

He married Susan L. Hall on July 2, 1971 in Casper, WY and they made their home in Gering, NE. He was a member of Central Church of Christ in Gering. His interests included church activities, train watching, farming, and grandchildren’s activities.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Jennings, four children: John Jennings, Katherine (Michael) Fogle, Nancy (Michael) Gray, and Rebecca Jennings; nine grandchildren; two brothers: William (Pam) Jennings and Andrew (Phyllis) Jennings; and sister Helen Lelievre.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Emma Jennings and father-in-law and mother-in-law Ivan and Hazel Hall.
