Henry Ward

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Hopewell Baptist Church, Greenville, Alabama with Bro. Larry Gaston and Bro. Rex Reaves officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Owassa, Alabama with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements. The Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Hopewell Baptist Church.

Mr. Ward is survived by his wife of 48 years: Melva Jean Ward; children: Carla Gaines (Chris), William Ward, Virginia Colvin (Trent), Patrick Ward (Amy); grandchildren: Samantha McCullough, James McCullough, Courtney McCullough, Brent Colvin, Bailey McCullough, Payton Gaines, Dalton Ward, Auburn Ward, Rebekah Ward, Lilly Ward, Lacey Ward, Charity Ward, Nicholas Ward; 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 on the way; siblings: Billy Ward, Anice Shipp, Mable Goodson.

Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his parents: Bill & Marble Ward; grandsons: Marcus McCullough, Nathan Barlow; siblings: Hazel Whiddon, Janice Reno, William Earl Ward, Mary Louise Ward, and Etta Mae Fowler.
