Gracelyn Fayeth Kelley

Funeral Service for Gracelyn Fayeth Kelley will be held at 2pm on October 10, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday night at the funeral home.

Gracelyn Fayeth Kelley, 21, from Greenville, Alabama, along with her son Cayson Zaine Peavy, passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2021 after a tragic car accident in Colorado.

Gracelyn was preceded in death on her maternal side by her grandfather, John Robert Lide, great grandfathers James Miller Lide and Henry Earl Newton, great grandmothers Hattie Elizabeth Friley Lide, Mabel Wilmerth Pouncey Newton, and Lennie Lide; and on her paternal side by grandfathers Hurston Wayne Kelley and Timothy Mark Spurlock, great grandfather Fred Sexton Jr., and great grandmother, Ruby Mae Hartin Sexton.

She is survived by her sons Carter Oneal Peavy and Cody Ladon Wayne Peavy (now deceased), significant other Torey Peavy; parents Troy Wayne Kelley (Renae) of West Point, Texas and Jana Suzanne Lide (Wade Parker) of Greenville, Alabama; brother, John Nathan Ward of Greenville; step-brothers, Pancho Martinez and Cali Cardenas of West Point, Texas; step-sisters, Jessica and Elaina Martinez, also of West Point; grandmothers Janice Newton Lide (Howard Haygood Jr.) of Greenville, and Sarah Sexton Spurlock of Chapman, Alabama. She is also survived by her aunts, Darlene Powell (Bob) of Adairsville, Georgia, Cindy Wilson (Sam) of Greenville, Sarah Miller (Barry) of Mixonville/Old Texas, Alabama , Ashlie Owens (Jeremey) of Georgiana, Alabama, Tereasa Sorrells of Andalusia, Alabama, Alicia Cook (Donnie) of Brantley, Alabama; and uncles James Lide (Stacey) of Cedarville, Ohio and Israel Kelley, Sr. of Chapman. Her maternal first cousins are Wes Powel of Powder Springs, Georgia, Katie Wilson Cooper (Carson) of Birmingham, Alabama, Chase Powell (Kaitlyn Spivey) of Adairsville, Georgia, and Jacob, Aubrey, And Emmeline Lide, all of Cedarville, Ohio. Paternal first cousins are Victoria Salvador-Hughes (Dylan), Ireland Miller, and John Sexton of Mixonville/Old Texas, Alabama, Israel Kelley II of Monroeville, Joseph Kelley of Georgiana, Sydnie, and Jordan Ward of Georgiana, Kaylie, and Morgan Owens of Georgiana, and Aiden and Adelyn Sorrells of Andalusia.
