Yvonne Dismukes Beverly

Yvonne Dismukes Beverly, age 96, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on July 14, 2019.

She was born in Hull, Texas on March 14, 1923. Yvonne graduated from high school in Silsbee, Texas and attended Lamar University until the start of World War II. She married Fred Allan Beverly on January 9, 1942. Yvonne was a homemaker and took great pride in taking care of her family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Georgetown. She had a passion for traveling the world and collected many objects, art, and other items of interest as keepsakes of her long and interesting life.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Allan Beverly, brother, Carl Dismukes, Jr., sister, Gloria Starkey, and grandson, Russell Beverly. She is survived by her children, Robert Allan Beverly, Ann Yvonne Wadleigh, and James Russell Beverly; grandchildren, Eric Allan Beverly, Alexander Darien Wadleigh, John Christian Wadleigh, and Joel Francis Wadleigh; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Georgetown Presbyterian Cemetery, 20th and Paige Streets, Georgetown, Texas.
