Born October 1, 1936 in Fedor, Texas to Otto and Alma Schubert. Graduated from Concordia High School. Married Carolyn Buchhorn on November 12, 1960. Retired from IBM in August, 1992. He enjoyed BBQing, farming and his grandkids. He joined in Heaven: his parents, two brothers, a sister and daughter Rebecca Brabandt. He leaves behind: Carolyn, the families of Johnny Brabandt, John Schubert and Scott Schubert.
A visitation for Ray will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. A graveside service will occur at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery - Fedor, Corner of CR 309 & PR 3091, Lincoln, TX 78948. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 6101 FM 1105, Georgetown, TX 78626.
