Faye "Penny" Trice Harris passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2022 in Kirkland, Washington, surrounded by her loving children. Penny grew up in Gilbertown, Alabama, where she graduated from Silas High School in 1954. She attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a B.A. in Education in 1958. While working as a teacher in Warrington, Florida, Penny met her future husband, Dale, who was attending flight school at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Penny was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and family, providing unconditional love and modeling her faith in the Lord. She found great joy with her involvement in the church, bible study and coffee with friends.
During retirement, Penny and Dale split their time between homes in Sonora, California and Gulf Shores, Alabama, with their dog, Tigger. Penny is lovingly remembered by her sister, Sue (George) Wimberly and brother, Harrell (Judy) Trice. She is survived by her son, Dale "Butch" Pressly Harris Jr. (Resa) of Gulf Shores, AL; her daughter Diane Faye Harris of Leander, TX and her son, Ronald "Ronnie" James Harris (Kris) of Bothell, WA.
