Paul was one of eight children born to Joe and Emiteria Herrera in Hutto, Texas. Paul resided in Hutto for 48 years, where he is remembered by the native residents as a “fixture” at the Hutto Co-op. The area farmers always appreciated Paul’s hard work and expertise in the grain business.
After the Co-op closed, Paul began his own residential cleaning business, where his commitment and reliability built lasting relationships with his clients. His pleasant attitude and outgoing personality made it very easy to be friends with Paul.
The phone at Paul’s house never stopped ringing, with calls from family and friends, who counted on him to be a great listener and a wise advisor. His common sense approach to life and its problems enabled Paul to share his wisdom with everyone – whether you were five or fifty. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. His family is blessed to have a dad and grandfather who constantly showed his pride and love for them. Positive family relationships were extremely important to Paul. He will always be remembered for his strong personal values, courage, and commitment to hard work that are a legacy to his family.
