Paul Reed Cunningham

Paul Reed Cunningham, 73, of Burnet, Texas, left his earthly home and entered into his heavenly home August 22, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. He was Born February 11, 1946 in Booneville, Mississippi, to Charlie and Reba Cunningham.

Paul grew up in Mississippi and had a passion for music from very early on. He attended one year of college before serving his country in the US Army. Once honorably discharged, he joined the band, Crip Guerney, with his brother Mike and several close friends. After moving to Texas and starting a family, he still played at various venues around the Austin area. Paul eventually combined his love for music and the Lord and led the Praise and Worship at Trinity Tabernacle in Cedar Park, Texas for over 15 years. In his free-time he loved being around his family, spending time with his grandchildren was often the highlight of his day.

Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Cunningham of Burnet, Texas; his Brothers, Charles Cunningham and wife Kris of Memphis, Tennessee and Mike Cunningham of Jackson, Mississippi; Sister, Donna Steward and husband Stan of Booneville, Mississippi; Daughters, Kim Vidaure and husband David of Briggs, Texas, Diane Battles and husband John of Bertram Texas, and Tammy McDonnell and husband Russell of Dallas, Texas; Sons, Jason Cunningham and wife Jennifer of Leander, Texas and Stephen Cunningham and wife Monica of Leander, Texas; grandchildren, Kristi, Brandon, Josh, Dylan, Isaiah, Isaac, Bradley, and Alex; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous family members who looked up to Paul as a father and grandfather figure.

Paul is preceded in death by his Parents, Charlie and Reba Cunningham; Grandson, Justin Battles; and Great Grandson, Colton Pelfrey.

The family will be having a visitation on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 from 6pm-8pm and the service will be held on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 at 2pm. Both will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home 2900 Williams Drive Georgetown, TX 78628.
