Nani lived a humble, giving, loving life. If wealth was measured by family, she was rich beyond measure.
To her family, she was their world and she loved seeing them walk up to her screen door. Their love for
each other was unconditional. She cared for, devoted time to and fed everyone that came into her
home. She will always be known as a great cook and for her wonderful tamales.
She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Whether for an employer in her younger years or for herself later in life, she always found a way to provide. She had a strength that endured till her last breath here on earth.
Her smile was contagious, behind it was usually a story that brought you laughter even on a bad day. There was a calming effect in her smile, a warmth in her embrace, and her eyes let you know you meant
everything to her. That all is now being shared with her husband Elias, who’s waited patiently for their
reunion in Heaven.
