Linda was born on October 27, 1949 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to her parents Charles and Herta Rouse. She was a lifetime army brat with her father serving in the army as well as her husband, Louis O. Wheeler. She married Louis in 1971 in Fort Benning, Georgia. The army moved the Wheelers to Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sioux City, Iowa; Fort Riley, Kansas; and then to Killeen, Texas. After 20 years of service, the Wheelers eventually retired in Georgetown, Texas.
Linda was the heart and soul of their arts & crafts business, Just a Little Bit Country, where she was an esteemed painter and crafts creator for over 20 years. The Wheelers along with their two children, Chrissey and Cindy traveled the country selling her beautiful works of art.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Louis Wheeler of Georgetown, Texas; her youngest sister, Margie Richardson of Columbus, Georgia; her oldest daughter and son-in-law, Chrissey and Ted Garcia of Grand Prairie, Texas; her youngest daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Corgill of Cedar Park, Texas; and 7 grandchildren in which she adored greatly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Herta, her sister Evelyn and brother Charlie.
Linda will be remembered in a family ceremony on November 10, 2018.
