Lawrence Nelson Clark, Jr. was born September 14, 1937 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Lawrence Sr., and Alyce (Lassiter) Clark. He passed from this life February 6, 2022 in Austin, Texas at the age of 84. Lawrence had lived in this area for the past 10 years, moving here from North Fort Meyers, Florida. He received a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a veteran of the United States Army. Larry and Patricia Malmsbury were united in marriage on June 27, 1958 in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and taught many years of Sunday School. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Clark;brother, John Ivan Clark and wife Mary of Jacksonville, Florida; children, Gregory Clark and wife Sandra and Karen Mastervich and husband David; grandchildren, Sara Moore and husband Russ, Beth Lodge and husband Nick, Brandon Clark, Trevor Long and wife Virginia and Meghan Freeman and husband David; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Moore, Hailey Moore, Sully Freeman, Stephen Long and Zoé Long.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at a later date.
