Kathryn Sue Neal

Kathryn Sue Neal, Age 73, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Hospice Austin at Christopher House. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to parents William and Vera Smith. Kathryn spent her childhood in Chillicothe, Ohio, where she met and married her husband of 53 years. They married in 1964.

Corporate life took the Neal family all over the country from Illinois to California, to Connecticut to Georgetown, Texas buying a home over 20 years ago in Sun City, Georgetown. Kathryn was a loving wife to her husband Jack and mother to children Jack II and Christa. Later in life Kathryn started her own company, Kathryn’s Kreations as an Interior Decorator. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Chicago, Illinois and The Worship Place in Sun City, Georgetown. Kathryn was also a member of the Kiwanis Club in Sun City Georgetown since 2004 and Holiday Home Tour Decorator since 2002.

Kathryn is survived by husband of 53 years, Jack Neal of Georgetown, Texas; son, Jack Neal II and wife Caren of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Christa Heath and husband Donald of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Kramer, Ashley Winterbottom, and Kendall and Alexis Heath; brother, Lee Smith and wife Evelyn of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sister, Donna Schobelock and husband Jim of Chillicothe, Ohio; brother-in-law, John McFarland of Circleville, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Lisa Kilgore, Jamie Arvayo, John Aaron Emmill, Pam Smith, Shelia Doerflein, Ronnie Smith, and Blake, Brian, Blane, and Brent Schobelock.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at The Worship Place in Sun City Georgetown, Texas with Dr. Kelly Barnett officiating. A reception will follow the service.
