Julia will be greatly missed, she was a strong shoulder to lean on and was known to be a "second mom" to many. She was a strong woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren deeply. She had a strong work ethic, was willing to lend a helping hand when needed and had a generous heart in giving. She loved spending time with family, playing a good game of cards, listening to country music and watching a good movie.
She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, LeRoy Clark; parents, Lloyd and Grace McMiller; two brothers; four sisters; a granddaughter; and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, LeRoy Clark and Patsy of Georgetown, Texas, Mark Clark and Sara of Holton, Michigan, Betty Fuentes and Arthur of Hart, Michigan, and Theresa Castro and Javier of Georgetown, Texas; her brother, William McMiller of Florence, Texas, formerly of Michigan; twelve grandchildren; and thirty-two great grandchildren (plus 2 on the way).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to help fund funerals for homeless veterans, as this was an issue that left an imprint on Julia's heart.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cookwaldendavisfuneralhome.com for the Clark family.
You were here at our side, ours to love for a time.
Through tears of sorrow and smiles of joy, our hearts bound together forever more.
To see you go broke our hearts, but in God's hands you have a new start.
With Jesus your Savior's covering, spending eternity with God just loving Him.
Seeing God embrace you with His love, watching Him call you to His side above.
This world can no longer keep you in pain, you delivered to heaven is eternal gain.
As your breath left from you, we saw His peace cleanse you through.
Even though we miss you so, you free with God is all we need to know.
One day we will see each other again, together in the presence of our Lord praising Him.
