Joan Sandra Lutz

Joan Sandra Lutz was born October 16, 1942 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Dickson) Mitchell. She passed from this life January 18, 2024 in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 81.

She had lived in Sun City for the past 9 years, moving from Katy, Texas. Joan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Georgetown. She enjoyed traveling and theater musicals. Joan attended college for Bookkeeping and worked in the Insurance Industry for 2 years. She and Robert Lutz were united in marriage on April 2, 1966 in Buffalo, New York.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bob Lutz; sons, Jeffrey Lutz (Michelle) and Gary Lutz (Lisa) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 703 Church Street, Georgetown, Texas. A reception will follow.
