Jessica Dawn Saunders

Jessica Dawn Saunders was born March 6, 1981 in Long Beach, California. She passed from this life June 8, 2023 at the age of 42. Jessica's soulful, bright light illuminated the lives of everyone she met; a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Jessica was a loving daughter, sister, friend and most importantly mother to the lights of loves of her life, her beautiful children Maison and Jack. Jessica loved horses and competed in equestrian riding as a young girl and continued her passion of riding and loving horses throughout her life, not just in the arena, but also working cattle in the stockyard with her heart horse Jake the big paint. Real cowboy work! Jessica loved deepwater and bay fishing and painting but most of all spending time with her family.

She worked in the Hospice and Health Care industry for 10 years. Jessica was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Saunders.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Maison McKinney and Jack Saunders; her mother, Sherry Jones and stepfather, Don Graski; father, Randy Jones; sister, Jennifer Gilmore and husband Joel Gilmore; brother, Brett Jones; stepsister, Jessie Belle Graski and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Jessica's life will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 12951 Ranch Road 2338, Georgetown, Texas 78633. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to scholarship funds for Maison and Jack.
