Harold Ray Clinton, age 80, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 26, 2018, at his home in Georgetown, Texas, surrounded by his family. Hal was born in 1937 in Caruth, Missouri. As a young boy he moved with his parents to Detroit, Michigan. He then went on to attend and graduate from Bible Baptist College in Springfield, Missouri. Hal then devoted 8 years to serving his country in the United State Air Force. After several moves with the military, he settled in Texas to raise his three children and pursue a career in Information Technology as a computer analyst with NCR and then Bealls Corporation. After retirement, he and his wife Mary Ann moved to Georgetown where Hal enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and researching genealogy. He was also a skilled craftsman with carpentry and antiques.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ann; his sister, Pat Routen (Rod) of Colleyville, TX; daughter, Brenda Ross (Warren) of Benbrook, TX; son, Lt Col (ret) Dave Clinton (NeAnne) of Enid, OK, daughter, Robyn Claflin (Kelly) of Austin, TX and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. Services will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
