Ella "Wheezie" Louise Sutton

Louise was born September 1, 1959, in Georgetown, TX, to X.L. Jefferson and Ella Jean Perry. She graduated from Georgetown High School in the Class of 1978. Louise worked for the City of Austin for many years before moving to Killeen, TX where she spent the rest of her career working for the Texas Workforce Commission until her retirement. In her earlier years, Louise was an avid softball player and enjoyed playing on various teams.

Louise cherished spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her friends and attending music festivals and concerts. Louise had a gift of making conversation with anyone, and she never met a stranger.

She was known for her delicious cornbread dressing and loved entertaining friends and family in her home. She was truly a party enthusiast and had a natural flair for making people feel loved and welcomed. Additionally, she was a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan.

Louise is preceded in death by her father, X.L. Jefferson, her uncle and aunt, Guinn and Olean Crisp, and her beloved dog, Dallas. She is survived by her children, LaToya Parker of Hutto, Sylvia Williams of Killeen, and Darius Sutton (Monique) of San Antonio, as well as her grandchildren, Jocelyn Zamarron, DeShawn Sutton, and Xoe Zamarron. She is also survived by her mother, Ella Jean Moorer of Georgetown, sisters Helen Pollard (Terrell) of Taylor, Willie Ruth “Tobie” Brown of Georgetown, Charlett Zamora of Hutto, brothers James Ray Parker of Georgetown, X.L. “Bubba” Jefferson Jr. of Georgetown, Lyndon “Linky” Jefferson of Georgetown, and Wilbert Jefferson of Round Rock, and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family. She leaves a multitude of beloved friends she has made along her journey. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Louise will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 206 Martin Luther King Jr Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery, 1117 E 7th St, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
