Daniel E. Flores, Sr., age 34, of Key West, Florida, formerly of Killeen, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born on May 13, 1980 in the Canal Zone of Panama. Daniel served in the U.S. Navy as an Air Traffic Controller.
He was the most generous, loyal, and dedicated man to both his family and friends. Daniel always gave his all in everything he did and was active in many charities especially the “Chive Charity” which raises money for such things as kidney transplants and injured soldiers. He never spoke ill of anyone and always had a kind word for everyone.
Daniel was a great cook, very artistic and had great sense of humor bringing smiles to those he met. He was a great father, husband and best friend who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Kristin Leigh Flores of Key West, Florida, son, Daniel Eugene Flores, Jr. of Key West, Florida; father, Victor Flores of Gatesville, Texas; mother, Yong Flores of Gatesville, Texas; sisters, Angela Hill of Nolanville, Texas and Kathleen Flores of Cedar Park, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 27, 2015 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Donna Mayfield as the Celebrant.
