Beverly Jean Anderson

Beverly was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas and was a graduate of Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. After 26 years of service, she retired from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

In 1972, Beverly married Cecil Lee Anderson. They enjoyed traveling coast to coast in their RV with the Shriners Ben Hur Travel Club. Some of Beverly’s favorite things to do were going to the beach, square dancing and going on cruises. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Cecil Lee Anderson; children, Laura Jean Hutchins and husband Sam, Phyllis Crawford and husband Alan, and Bruce Blann and wife Janet; sister, Del Hendricks; nieces, Kathleen Kappler, Mary Jean Walker and husband Bill, Beverly Green, Lynn Schroeder and husband Gary, Kathy Klare, Lisa Ottenbacher and husband Ron; nephews, Billy Grenwelge and Vic Hendricks. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lola Grenwelge, and grandson Matt.

A Memorial Service to honor Beverly’s life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with The Rev. Paulette Magnuson officiating.
