Ms. Roemer graduated in 1968 from Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas and then attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. After 35 years of service at the Texas State Health Department, she retired in 2003.
Betty is preceded in death by her father, Lorenz Roemer. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Roemer of Georgetown; and her sister, Deborah Horn and husband Robert of Cedar Park.
To honor Betty’s life, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
