Linda Kozma passed away as the sun rose on September 26th, 2011 at the age of 64. Linda was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to Adelheid and Charles Bechthold. After marrying, she moved to Regina, Saskatchewan where she and husband Julius, raised their four sons. With her sons grown, Linda completed her degree in economics in 1995 and moved to Gatineau, Quebec to take a position with the federal government. Quebecois culture, travelling the world, and collecting a wide range of antique collectables were a few of her passions. Although Linda lived across the country or around the world from her sons, they were always in her thoughts. Her selflessness was exemplified when Linda donated a kidney to one of her sons. Linda leaves a legacy of care and compassion with her sister, Della, brother, Al, her sons, Andrew, Thomas, Stephen and Dominic, granddaughter Victoria, nieces Susan, Joan, Kim and Janal and special friend Denis Boisvert. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Julius her parents Adelheid and Charles and sister, Lillian. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at St. Joseph the Worker (1771 Bond St, Regina Saskatchewan) on Friday, October 7th at 7pm. If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society or l'Oratoire St-Joseph in Montreal.
