We lived next door to Sam.  He was a kind  and friendly neighbor.  We regret we couldn't attend services as Debra was ill.   We send out sympathy and your family is in our prayers.

I remember as a kid playing with Sammy and Donnie many wonderful hours. We gave Aunt Mable and my Mon a very hard time. Many fond things to always remember. My prayers are with the family.

There will NEVER be another Sam Richardson. I instantly loved him and his wife Debbie when I met them. He allowed a girl to come to the shop everyday and learn and laugh and feel so comfortable doing something that was meant for the boys. My brother Sam's earthly journey has ended He was born 356 days after me and joined me for 61 years of life filled with many wonderfilled events and memories. We often said we thought we had each lived the life of two average men. He leaves a legacy that enriched the lives of many, who as long as they and I live will never die.

With our deepest sympathy, we are truly sorry for your loss. Sam was a great man! My family and I only got to know him for a short time, but in that time we knew how much he loved his family, the love of his life, and cutting grass. He always spoke so highly of his family, and I won't forget those days he would sneak over to my yard and cut it just to stay outside some. He had a heart of gold and will truly be missed!
