Robert Cary Jordan, age 61, passed away on Wednesday ~ October 3, 2018 at his residence. Robert was described by his son and daughter-in-law as that "Big Hearted Man" and the "Best Dad Ever." He will always be remembered as a man who tried to take care of everyone he could. Robert was a man who loved his 1969 Z28, Corvette Z06 and many other muscle cars he owned over the years. He was an avid UNC Tar Heels fan and fresh water fishing advocate. Robert owned and operated his own business in the ceiling and floor covering for over 21 years and was a mentor to his son Mark who loved working with him for the past 12 years. His grandchildren who he loved and adored very much called him Papa, and they are going to miss him greatly. Robert was a great dad, father-in-law and grandfather. Papa had a very close relationship with his grandchildren. Robert loved Jesus and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
