Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman”? For her price is far above rubies…Rebecca Ann Elliott, age 61 of Lincolnton, NC passed away Monday, June 15, 2015. Rebecca was a dear and loving wife, mother and grandmother who gave of herself and time to others. She was greatly fond of arts and crafts with plastic canvasing. Rebecca is the daughter of the late Mary Hampton Johnson and R.L. Johnson

Her loving family and friends are left behind cherishing her memories. Her husband Hobart of 17 years; daughter: Angel Richardson of Crouse, NC; son: Scott Holt; grandchildren: Austin, Jacob, Aaron, Amber and Makenzie.

Celebrating the life Rebecca lived to the fullest will be shared at 2:00 pm on Saturday June 20, 2015 Souls Harbor Tabernacle, 271 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, NC 28052 with Pastors James Chambers, Chuck Poole and James Regan to officiate. Active pallbearers are Steve Johnson, Ronald Holt, Kenneth Gamble, Buddy Jordan, Dennis Garland and Charlie Gamble. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Holt and Jacob Richardson. Committal services will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, NC.

Her family will greet and receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, June 19, 2015 at Carothers Funeral Home Gaston Memorial Park.

The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the Robin Johnson House of Dallas for the love and care given to Rebecca and family.
