Pauline Johnson Hicks

A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother best describes Pauline Johnson Hicks, age 81 who passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, North Carolina. Pauline was a Big fan of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and was a strong willed lady herself. She had a great love for her flower garden; especially her roses and she loved the beach.

She was the daughter of the late George Johnson and Kate Hulsey Johnson. Pauline was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Ray Hicks who passed in 2006 along with her son Bobby John Clyde Hicks who passed in 2015; one sister: Frances Johnson; two brothers: Gordon Johnson and Chick Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Trish Campbell of Gastonia, North Carolina; three grandchildren: Chrissy Fore and her husband Jimmy of Gastonia, North Carolina; Bryan Fore of Gastonia, North Carolina; Jason Fore and wife Lisa of Raleigh, North Carolina; three step grandsons: Troy Williams and wife Amy; Mark Williams and Johnny Williams; four great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; two sisters: Maryann Rumfelt of Lowell, North Carolina, Ruby Horton of Gastonia, North Carolina.

Funeral service for Pauline will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054. Active pallbearers are: Bryan Fore, Jason Fore, Jimmy Smith, Jayden Smith, Troy Williams and Mark Williams.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Graveside service and the committal ceremony will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
