Please accept my sincerest condolences.  I just found out about your loss last night, and my thoughts and prayers are with you....Tom Harrell

My deepest sympathies to my Aunt Susan, Katie, and Zach. This is such a difficult situation.  I wish we could have all had the chance to say goodbye to that wry smile and wicked wit. He was a great Uncle to me, and I always looked up to him. I remember spending entire summers wearing his red Tenneco Oil Trucker hats trying to emulate him. I will carry his memories in my heart and pass along the things I have learned from him to my own children to keep his spirit alive.
I am here for you if you ever need anything. I wish I could  be with you to celebrate his life.  I hope we can get together soon so we can all heal from this.

Aunt Susan, Zach and Katie - our thoughts and prays are with all of you. I will always remember my crazy, fun and lovable uncle Lee. He made "Red Red Wine" by UB40 a very special song in our lives and in our memories of our family reunions at Edisto Beach. He will always be remembered for all the good that he has done throughout his life!

You and Lee were so gracious to Andy in Gabon, and later to me.  I lost Andy this past January and I know how this feels.  My sympathies to you and your family, and I know Andy would have wanted to say the same, and wish you well.

Such sad news about Lee leaving us way too soon.  Growing up in the same neighborhood with Lee, I most remember all that personal energy and spirit he always had.  So many great memories with him going through school together, boy scouts, sports, etc.  One day at school during wrestling season, a group of the guys were standing around trying to stay out of trouble when a teacher walked up.  Placing her hand on Lee's shoulder, she commended on how firm he was.  Immediately we nicknamed Lee Mr. Firm for a year or so (mainly because the rest of us were so jealous!).

Our sincere sympathy to Susan and the family.

Lee, you were a special friend in a tough period of my life, and grateful you were there to help me.

I had known Lee Freeman for 35 years. I worked for him and with him for many of those years. His family - Susan, Zach and Katie were a second family to this "bachelor-orphan". I went fishing with him on many occasions on the San Juan River - and attempted to golf with him on several other occasions. He was a generous, spirited, conscientious Great Friend, Boss and Mentor. I loved you for the way you were. I do not know many like you. You had no agenda. You accepted a challenge and you loved the adventure. You were the Man on Beaver Dam Creek.
