Linda Bishop Clevenger

On Wednesday August 18, 2021, Linda Clevenger 78 of Gastonia entered her heavenly mansion that God had prepared for her. She is now standing in the presence of the glory of our Savior and is joyful to see her family and loved ones who are there.

Linda was a kind, sweet and selfless soul. She loved her Lord and was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and sister who loved her family unconditionally. She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church where she served as secretary and treasurer for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Velma & Edgar Bishop, she is preceded in passing by her husband Gaston Clevenger. She is survived by her son, Brent Clevenger and his fiancée Lavy Heng and sister, Brenda Conner.

A visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park. A funeral service will occur Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 3:00 pm in the funeral chapel officiated by Pastor Tommy Owenby. A graveside service will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Lakeview Baptist Church in McAdenville.
