She is a graduate of Hunter Huss High School in Gastonia, NC. Kathy retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service at Wix Filters.
She enjoyed visiting Myrtle Beach, where she loved being near the water and basking in the sun. She was a devoted companion to her beloved chihuahuas, Buddy (who has passed) and Baby Girl. Kathy also had a passion for watching soap operas and the TV show Survivor.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her brother, Tommy Monteith.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal R. Crawford and husband Charlie; grandchildren, Kevin Robbins and wife Angela, Timothy Robbins and wife Amber, Jacob Jones, Chris Crawford; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Michael Mintz and wife Linda and Richard Mintz and wife.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025 in the Four Seasons Garden at Gaston Memorial Park.
