Glory Ann Jones

Glory Ann Walker Jones, age 76, passed away on Wednesday ~ February 26, 2020 with her dear and loving family by her side. It was a long battle and fight for Glory but she's now with her Heavenly Father in Glory. She was special, very special to her family and friends. Her family is going to miss her just being here with them. She would give her children talks of wisdom about life and how to best live their lives. Glory would enjoy eating out with her family, especially the IHOP. She is truly going to be missed by her loving children that she too loved deeply.

Those left behind to carry on her legacy are her four daughters and son in law: Gloria Denise Black of Gastonia, North Carolina, Betty Jones of Cherryville, North Carolina, Ruth Ann Jones of Mount Holly, North Carolina, Ginger and Thad Lowe of Lincolnton, North Carolina; one son and daughter in law: Tommy and Barbara Jones of Gastonia, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Glory was the daughter of the late Bailey Lee Walker and Dorothy Louise Green Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Jones who passed away in 1991 along with two sons, Michael Jones and Roger Jones.

The family will have a gathering of family and friends at Glory's home, 211 Park Road, Mount Holly, North Carolina from 1:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM, Sunday ~ March 1, 2020.
