Geraldine LaCourse Reynolds

Geraldine Reynolds, 86, passed away peacefully at home, on January 7, 2022. She was born August 4, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late George Heintschel and Geraldine Heintschel LaCourse Higgins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Martin Reynolds.

Jerri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church. Jerri loved dogs, cats, swimming, beach trips, growing roses, and in her later years coloring especially with her great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of her family and was happiest when her family was gathered around her table for holiday celebrations.

Survivors include her loving children, Victoria Rauch (Peter); Brenda Fox; Jeffrey Reynolds, Greg Reynolds (Kira); grandchildren, Natillie Rauch Brandenburg (Josef); Lauren Rauch (Daniel); Julian Rauch (Brittany); Elliott Fox (Rebecca); Allison Kennedy (Jeffrey); Madison Threlkeld (Chase); Celina Coffey (Seth); Josiah Reynolds; Lincoln and Garrison Reynolds; as well as 14 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Liturgy will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday January 11, 2022 in Cardinal Hall at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park officiated by Deacon Melton. The service will be live streamed on the Carothers Facebook page for those unable to attend.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.

Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic and the request of the family masks are required.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you help someone in need, a kind gesture to someone who is struggling goes a long way, and/or a charity of your choosing.
