Evelyn Lucille Champion

She was the daughter of the late Fred Henry Champion and Lalar Mae Bradley Champion.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert James Champion and Earnest Eugene Champion.

She is survived by her sister and brother in law: Joy and John Cain of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; brother and sister in law: Perry Joedean and Phyllis Champion of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; sister in law: Carolyn Webb Champion (wife of the late Earnest Champion) of Madisonville, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with Reverend Dwight Huffman to officiate. Pallbearers are Darriel Brown, Shayne Cox, Billy Davidson, Danney Rebels, Nichlos Rebels and Eithen Rebels.

Graveside and Committal will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, 111 South Dilling Street, Kings Mountain.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home, Stateroom II.
