Elizabeth (Beaver) Eldridge, 83, of Mount Holly passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Elizabeth was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Mooresville High School in Indianapolis. She married Larry Eldridge on March 1, 1975. She had various careers while she moved about as an Army wife to her husband Larry. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, gardening and watching old movies. Many will miss her.
Preceding her in death are her biological parents, Jack and Pat Cozine and her adopted parents Gerald and Mary Alice Beaver. Her sister Vickie Beaver also precedes her in death.
Elizabeth leaves behind her children, Mindy Marriott, Gerry Tharp and Charnie Jackson. Her stepchildren, Mary Stutts, Mickey Eldridge (Tracy), and Melonie Williams are also grieving the passing of Elizabeth.. Missing their grandmother are grandchildren, Sarah Stephens, Kathryn Ogura, Matthew Stephens, Michael Stephens, Travis Tharp, Gabrielle Adams, Jonas Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Jacob Jackson, J.C. Stutts, Kristen Bilbro, Matthew Eldridge, Rachel Eldridge, Chris Williams and Johnathan Williams. Her legacy includes numerous great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 15, 2022 in Cardinal Hall at Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia. Inurnment will follow the celebration of life service in Mausoleum B at Gaston Memorial Park. Reverend Nick Clampton will officiate and offer words of encouragement and hope to family and friends that gather to remember Elizabeth.
