Carole Ann Keller Borgman of Fairfield, CT and more recently of Lake Wylie, SC, died peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Borgman was 79, the wife of Peter Seth Borgman.
Carole was a long-time member of Black Rock Church and active in many of its ministries beginning in P.T. Barnum Village working with young women, a Bible study and youth leader with her husband, and a community mobilizer for Cambodian refugees in the early 1980’s, participating in the founding of a Cambodian fellowship at the church. In her later years, she and her husband spent several years in Mexico sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, ministering with local pastors, and bringing humanitarian relief to those in need.
She had a passion for life, a deep commitment to family and service to the Lord and others. She had an infectious love for people, which effected significant impact on both friends and strangers alike.
Mrs. Borgman is survived by her husband of 58 years and by her 4 children: Lani Borgman Shade and her husband Steve of Morgantown, PA, Christopher Borgman and Michael Borgman and his wife Katie, both of Charlotte, NC, Mark Borgman and his wife Kirsten of Lake Wylie, SC., and her sister Candace Keller Williams and her husband Rodger of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Journey Church, 5415 Hwy 557, Lake Wylie, SC.
A second Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT.
