Carol Luther Earley

Carol Luther Earley, 64, was a man who loved his family and fishing. Carol was a soft spoken hard worker. He was always active. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Carol was the son of the late Earnest James Earley and Florence White Earley.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 44 years, Libby Helms Earley, his daughter Michelle Earley and fiance’ Thomas Leonard of Salisbury, and son Jerry and wife Amy Earley of Mt. Holly. Carol also leaves behind sisters Marie Messer of Gastonia and Hazel McAbee of Gastonia, and brothers Charles and wife Kathy Earley of Gastonia, and Jack and Debbie Earley of Gastonia.

Also remembering Carol are his grandsons Jerry Lee Early Jr., Dalton James Earley, Landon Tyler Earley, Andrew Chase Earley and Cody Lee Leonard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday October 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia at 2:00 PM on Sunday October 23, 2016. A committal service will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The Reverend Harry Davis will officiate the service and offer words of encouragement to Carol’s family and friends.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016
