Carl Dean Teague, Sr., 81, of Gastonia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 5, 2019 at the Brian Center in Gastonia. Carl was a man who loved old cars. He was never able to see his ’66 Ford Galaxy completed, but he carefully followed its restoration. He loved yard work and was known for his roses. He was frugal and loved to get a bargain. Left to cherish their memories and to carry on Carl’s legacy are: daughter Sherry Hayes, son Carl Teague, Jr. and wife Sissy, and sister Elaine (Teague) Bowman, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The love of his life was his great-granddaughter Macie Olivia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia.
