Bobby Joe Anderson

Bobby was born on August 8th, 1960 in Morganton, North Carolina to the late Kirby Lee Anderson and Lottie Belle Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Cathy Short, Betty Lowrance and Jimmy Anderson.

Bobby was a man who had a strong love for God, his family, fishing, and Trump. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Christ Church, 3415 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056. A funeral service to celebrate his life will take place at 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary. A committal service will follow at Gaston Memorial Park Cemetery at 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 30 years, Tracy Marshall Anderson; daughters, Krista O’Mara (Josh), Ashley Marshall, and Christen Marshall; sons, Curtis Anderson and Joshua Marshall (Eileen); grandchildren, Andrew O’Mara, James O’Mara, Kaylin O’Mara, Jesse Duncan, Michelle Duncan, Justus Yoakum, Peyton Shaw, Knight Marshall, Lilly Marshall, and James Marshall; siblings, Randy Anderson (Linda), Sara Whitley, Carolyn Hunt (Gene), Noah Anderson (Debbie), Gail Mincey, Jerry Anderson, Alvin Anderson, Shirley Lovelace, Maggie Townsend (Tim), and David Anderson (Tammy).
