OBITUARY
Billy Edward Humphreys
February 14, 1931 – March 8, 2013
Gastonia – Billy Edward Humphreys, 82, passed away March 8, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
A native of Elkview, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Clyde and Audrey Humphreys.
Mr. Humphreys was a United States Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW and an avid golfer for at least 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Frances Coleman Humphreys.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm Sunday at Westview Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Clyde Jones officiating.
Entombment will follow the service.
