Billie Faye Laws Ghantt

Mrs. Ghantt was a beautician in Gastonia for many years after which she worked at Rauch Industries and in Customer Service at Matthew-Belk Company.

Mrs. Ghantt was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Gene Ghantt; son, Bryant Ghantt.

Mrs. Ghantt is survived by one daughter, Leslie Butler and husband Anton of Lincolnton; one son, Donnie Ghantt and wife Mary Ann of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren, Joseph King and wife Dana of Waxhaw, SSGT Jonathan King U. S. Marine Corp of Wise, Virginia, Lauryn Butler, Jason Hammond of Lincolnton, Cheril Hammonds, James Hammond and wife Phyllis, Kristy Allen of Dallas, Dewayne Hammond of Maiden; five great grandchildren, Raley King, Gracie King, Amanda Hammond, Christian Hammond, Joshua Hammond; one great, great grandson, Hunter Hammond.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at The Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home with Rev. Doug McLean officiating.

Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
